As I'm sure I've mentioned before, this is my first time teaching the research paper project in about 20 years, so we're learning together.
I figure these are the main steps:
1. Pick a topic2. Do a preliminary bibliography
• Form to submit your preliminary bibliography3. Do some background reading
• Form to submit your background reading4. Write a thesis statement
5. Do research & take notes
6. Create a graphic organizer or outline
7. Write a rough draft
8. Submit it to me AND Turnitin.com
9. Create a work cited page
10. Revise your paper and re-submit it to me via Turnitin.com
